Burger of the week.
The burgers at Coconuts on Dickenson st. in Springfield start out on a flame broiler. Heres one just waiting for it's turn to become juicy perfection for your tummy. Next Pix is the finished product.
Juicy Burger
I like mine on a toasted bun and then tomato slices, red onion and a lil mayo. This is a trash can burger. Its called that because it is so juicy you better be standing over a trash barrel to catch all the juice. One of the best burgers you will ever eat. It taste like burger. If I wanted to eat fried onions and catsup well you know where to go. For one of the best burgers ever try Coconuts, WOW.
What to have and where to go.
These are baked oysters. I know that during happy hour at Coconuts my friend Byron is serving oysters. You can have them made simply raw and on the 1/2 shell but if you know enought to ask he will make them baked with a garlic butter and covered in parmesan cheese.
Grumpiest Waitstaffer. We say this tongue in cheek. We have great service people here in the Valley.
This week its Megan. Megan is at Mikes East Side Pub. My wife calls this place Eastside Johnnies. Why, I dont know but we both love going there to eat. Fish N Chips, Prime rib and of course just about anything you want. The best Mac N Cheese anywhere and really good Lasagna. They are open for breakfast too. Stop by and say hello to Megan.
Restaurant Reviews a different one all the time.
I had not been to the Lido in Springfield for a while and It was grand to see it is still a really great place for dinner. My suggestion would be the veal cutlet dinner. Mine was melt in your mouth. The Lido one of Springfields original greats.Located on Worthington st I know you will love it there. Definately one of my favorites.
